Treballar les matemàtiques als 3 anys, a partir de material reciclat

Abstract

[cat] El material reciclat és un recurs molt accessible, atractiu i innovador, que s’utilitza cada vegada més a l’etapa d’Educació Infantil. A les escoles el material reciclat s’usa sovint per a decorar les aules, per a realitzar activitats de qualsevol àrea i sobretot, per investigar, explorar i aprendre jugant. És amb aquest tipus de material que es treballen els continguts de les diferents àrees de les matemàtiques: el raonament lògic matemàtic, els nombres i operacions, la resolució de problemes, la geometria, la mesura i la probabilitat i l’estadística. A partir de l’aprenentatge significatiu, i el paper de guia i/o acompanyant que ha de tenir el/la docent durant el procés d’ensenyament - aprenentatge de l’infant, és com s’aniran adquirint els nous coneixements. Els nins i nines seran els/les protagonistes, que aniran aprenent a partir del material que hauran anat recopilant amb l’ajuda de les famílies i els professionals del centre. Aquest document mostra una recopilació d’activitats utilitzant material reciclat, que han sorgit d’una necessitat molt visible a les aules d’Educació Infantil. A més, tindrem l’ocasió de conèixer diferents punts de vista de famílies i mestres de diferents centres de l’illa.

[eng] Recycled material is an accessible, attractive and innovative resource, which is increasingly used in Elementary Education. In schools, recycled material is often used for decorating classrooms, doing activities for any subject, and mainly for researching, exploring and learning at play. It is through this sort of material that the contents of the different mathematic fields are worked: logical - mathematical thinking, numbers and operations, problems solving, geometry, measure and probability and statistics. From a meaningful learning and the role of guide and/or companion that the teacher must have during the teaching-learning process of the child, is how new knowledge is going to be acquired. These will be the protagonists who will learn through the material that will have collected with the support of the families and professionals of the school. This paper presents a compilation of activities using recycled material, which have emerged from a visible need in Elementary Education classrooms. Furthermore, we will have the opportunity to see different views of families and teachers from different schools of the island.
