Beneficis del Visual Thinking a l’Ed. Primària

Abstract

[spa] El propòsit d’aquest article és analitzar el concepte del visual thinking de cara a facilitar la seva implementació en el camp de l’educació primària. Vivim immersos en una continua narració d’imatges que són portadores de missatges i valors com accés a una cultura visual (l’Homo Videns contemporani s’entén i entén aquest món eminentment visual de manera més intuïtiva, ràpida i universal). D’aquesta manera, “llegim la vida” amb imatges per contar i contar-nos, enriquint paulatinament l’imaginari personal i col·lectiu; l’alfabetització visual ja no s’associa només a la lectura i escriptura de textos, també a les noves alfabetitzacions: visual, mediàtica, digital i emocional, les quals ens aporten altres llenguatges i possibilitats. Per a realitzar el treball s’ha fet una àmplia consulta bibliogràfica utilitzant una gran diversitat d’articles que permeten conèixer el concepte del visual thinking des de diferents perspectives i la seva evolució en el món de l’educació al llarg dels darrers anys. És útil el visual thinking a l’educació primària? Els nins abans de començar a llegir i a escriure ja saben dibuixar, i és amb la imatge amb la que el nin aprèn a expressar-se en les seves primeres passes educatives. Per tant, alhora d’ensenyar s’ha de tenir en compte el visual thinking ja que fins a un 75% de la informació ens entra de manera visual.

[eng] The purpose of this article is to analyze the concept of visual thinking in order to facilitate its implementation into the field of primary education. According to the article, we live surrounded by continuous narrative images that are carriers of messages and values that give access to visual culture. (Homo videns contemporary understood the visual world, in a way that was more intuitive, faster and universal). Therefore, we read the life together with images that express and tell us stories, gradually enriches personal and collective imagination at school; visual literacy is not only associated with reading and writing texts, but also in new literate resources: visual, media, digital and emotional that offer to the pupil other languages and learning possibilities. In order to perform this article, there has been an extensive bibliographic research made using a variety of articles that give insight into the concept of visual thinking, collected from recent years of different perspectives and developments in the world of education. Is useful the visual thinking in primary education? Children before starting to read and write already know draw, is with the image which the child learns to express himself in his first education steps. Therefore, while teaching visual thinking should be considered, since up to 75% of information is captured in visual mode.
