Conservación y futuro de los Faros de las Islas Baleares

Abstract

[spa] Este documento expone el patrimonio histórico que hace referencia al conjunto de los faros del archipiélago de Baleares. Para ello, se ha realizado un análisis de los faros de las Baleares como elemento patrimonial, provisto de valores territoriales, que construyen un elemento a salvaguardar y aprovechar su potencialidad con usos respectivos con el medio, como centros de interpretación del entorno, ubicación de usos turísticos o como integrantes de núcleos urbanos con valores monumentales. Finalmente observar cuál es la conservación de estos faros, si permanecerán para siempre con la misma función u otra, pero respetando su arquitectura o si, por el contrario, se modificarán convirtiéndose en una atracción turística para obtener un beneficio. El método a la hora de realizar este trabajo, se ha basado principalmente en documentos bibliográficos, artículos periodísticos, documentación aportada por la Autoridad Portuaria de las Islas Baleares, así como datos de uso y valoración a partir de la red, salidas de campo a faros de la Isla y para finalizar y obtener una serie de resultados, realicé una entrevista a tres figuras relevantes en el mundo de los Faros de Baleares (Anexo). Los resultados obtenidos a partir de esta investigación se basan en la desaparición de los faros como referencia de señales marítimas y la adaptación a otro servició que puede llegar a tener dichos faros. En conclusión, los faros permanecerán intactos, pero pueden llegar a sufrir modificaciones en su interior, así como atracción turística, es decir, podrán llegar a ser pequeños hoteles, cafeterías (ya existentes), etc. Además, éstos también pueden ser utilizados como galerías de arte u otras funciones.

[eng] This document exposes the historical heritage that refers to all the lighthouses of the Balearic archipelago. For that, an analysis of the Balearic lighthouses has been carried out as a heritage element, provided with territorial values, which build an element to safeguard and take advantage of its potential with respective uses with the environment, as centers of interpretation of the environment, location of uses tourism or as members of urban centers with monumental values. Finally observe what is the conservation of these lighthouses, if they will remain forever with the same function or another, but respecting their architecture or if, on the contrary, they will be modified becoming a tourist attraction to obtain a benefit. The method at the time of carrying out this work, has been based mainly on bibliographic documents, journalistic articles, documentation provided by the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands, as well as usage and valuation data from the network, field trips to lighthouses of the Island and to finalize and obtain a series of results, conducted an interview with three relevant figures in the Balearic Lighthouse sector (Annex). The results obtained from this research are based on the disappearance of the lighthouses as reference of maritime signals, although they will remain as architectural reference. In conclusion, the lighthouses will remain intact, but may undergo modifications in their interior, as well as tourist attraction, that is to say they may become small hotels, cafes (already existing), etc. In addition, these can also be used as art galleries or other functions.
