[cat] El present treball tracta el tema de les modificacions urbanes a la ciutat de Roma
durant el 400, en especial durant la meitat d’aquest segle, amb el projecte de renovació
plantejat pel papa Nicolau V (1447 – 1455). També la seva continuïtat, amb l’obertura a
finals del mateix segle (l’any 1499) de la Via Alessandrina, a iniciativa d’Alexandre VI,
en el marc de la Ciutat Lleonina. A més, es presta atenció a la influència de Leon Battista
Alberti tan a l’urbanisme renaixentista com en concret a la ciutat de Roma, on podria
haver intervingut motivat per la seva relació amb la cort papal d’aquest moment.
[eng] The present paper deals with the subject of urban modifications in the city of Rome
during the 15th Century, especially during the middle of this century, with the renovation
project proposed by Pope Nicholas V (1447-1455). It will also focus on its continuity,
with the opening at the end of the same century (in 1499) of Via Alessandrina, on the
initiative of Alexander VI, within the framework of the Città Leonina. In addition, Leon
Battista Alberti's influence on Renaissance urbanism it’s treated, specifically to the city
of Rome, in which he could had been participating, motivated by his relationship with the
papal court of that moment.
