Reintroducción del dibujo al natural en la Escuela Primaria

[spa] Este trabajo trata de hacer una revisión de las grandes teorías relativas al desarrollo de la expresión plástica entre los 0 y los 12 años. A partir de aquí intenta resolver la pregunta de por qué la gran mayoría de niños deja de dibujar cuando alcanza la etapa del realismo visual (9-10 años). El estudio analiza las propuestas de Betty Edwards y las compara con el currículo español de artes plásticas de Educación Primaria. Desde este marco se intenta demostrar, mediante un experimento práctico, la importancia del dibujo al natural en contraposición al memorístico y como a partir del mismo podemos provocar un cambio cualitativo en el dibujo infantil que permita al niño asentarse en el realismo visual y no abandonar la práctica del dibujo. Este trabajo está dirigido a maestros que quieran promover un cambio en la asignatura de educación artística, y que quieran brindar la oportunidad a todos sus alumnos de expresarse mediante el dibujo.

[eng] This article tries to make a review of the main theories relative to art development from 0 to 12 year olds. Henceforth it tries to answer the question, why do the vast majority of children stop drawing when they reach the visual realism stage (9-10 years old). The study analyzes Betty Edward’s approaches and compares them to the Spanish art curriculum for primary school. At this point it tries to demonstrate through a practical experiment, the importance of natural drawing in contrast to memory drawing, and how we can cause a qualitative change by using it in child’s drawings to allow them to settle down in visual realism and not abandon drawing. This study is aimed at teachers that are willing to promote a change in the subject of art, and that want to offer an opportunity to all their pupils to express themselves through drawings.
