[spa] Introducción:La vulvodinia se aplica a aquellas pacientes con dolor vulvar crónico
de más de tres meses de evolución y sin lesiones visibles; es un cuadro sindrómico muy
frecuente de etiología desconocida y multifactorial.
Objetivos: Los objetivos del tratamiento son fundamentalmente reducir el dolor,
mejorar la calidad de vida y recobrar la función sexual si ésta se encuentra afectada, la terapia
incluye medicamentos tópicos, orales, infiltraciones intralesionales, fisioterapia y medidas
quirúrgicas.
Método: Este trabajo focaliza los objetivos en valorar distintas técnicas de
fisioterapia y los resultados que se obtienen mediante su aplicación. Para ello se ha realizado
una búsqueda bibliográfica en distintas bases de datos como Pubmed, La Biblioteca Virtual
de la Salud, Pedro, etc, de las cuales se han obtenido una series de fuentes secundarias lo que
ha obligado a seguir la búsqueda mediante “bola de nieve” para obtener fuentes primarias. De
todas estas fuentes primarias obtenidas se ha realizado una ficha bibliográfica de cada una de
ellas y se les ha pasado un “ check list” para valorar la calidad de los artículos, esto se ha
realizado mediante la escala CASPe.
Resultados: La terapia Cognitiva Conductual es la más eficaz para el tratamiento de
la vulvodinia ya que muestra los mejores resultados, aunque también existe una eficacia del
TENS demostrada. |

[eng] Introduction: Vulvodynia is applied to those patients with pain chronic vulvar over
three months and without visible injuries; It is a very common syndromic of unknown and
multifactorial etiology.
Objectives: The treatment aims primarily to reduce pain, improve the quality of life
and regain sexual function if this is affected, the therapy includes drugs oral, topical,
intralesional infiltration, physiotherapy and surgical measures. Method: This work focuses the objectives to assess different techniques of physical
therapy and the results obtained through its application. It has conducted a literature search in
different databases such as Pubmed, the Virtual Health Library, Pedro, etc, of which we have
obtained a series of secondary sources which has forced has followed the search using
"snowball" to obtain primary sources. All these primary sources obtained a bibliographic
record has been each one of them and passed them a "checklist" for assessing the quality of
the articles, this has been done through the scale CASPe.
Results: The cognitive Conductual therapy is most effective for the treatment of
vulvodynia it shows best results, there are also efficiency of the proven TENS. |
