Estudio del mercado de cruceros en las Islas Baleares

Abstract

[spa] La evolución del mercado de cruceros turísticos presenta una dinámica de un crecimiento sostenido importante durante los últimos años, hecho por el que se considera a los cruceros turísticos como uno de los subproductos más importantes en el mercado turístico actual. El concepto de cruceros ha ido evolucionando desde su nacimiento, teniendo en cuenta ya no solamente el buque en sí, sino también a todos los elementos con los que él mismo interrelaciona y los impactos que se generan de la actividad del mismo. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal el análisis de la oferta de los cruceros turísticos, con especial énfasis en el caso del puerto de Palma, debido a que es el principal puerto de las Baleares. Al actuar tanto como puerto base como escala de cruceros turísticos es durante los últimos años el objetivo principal de los grupos crucerísticos más importantes a nivel mundial.

[eng] The evolution of the tourist cruise market presents a dynamic of significant sustained growth over the last few years, which is why tourism cruises are considered one of the most important by-products in the current tourism market. The concept of cruises has evolved since its inception, taking into account not only the ship itself, but also all the elements with which it interrelates itself and the impacts generated from its activity. The main objective of this work is to analyze the offer of tourist cruises, with special emphasis on the case of the port of Palma, because it is the main port of the Balearic Islands. Acting as both a base port and a cruise ship, it has been the main objective of the most important cruise groups worldwide in recent years.
