Improvement and reform of a 3-star Hotel in Colonia de Sant Jordi

Abstract

[eng] Due to the fact that we want to increase the quality of our hotel, we improved it by increasing from a 3-star hotel till a 4-star hotel. This meant a lot of reforms in the sense of construction, but also in the sense of work template and the organization system. We had a need to change the way of working by the employees in order to give more quality. As there is a new trend that is emerging in the tourism in Mallorca, we focused even more than what we were, in the sport tourism. We adapted, even more, to their needs and we implemented new services such as spa, congress room and other facilities in the rooms.

[spa] Debido al hecho de que queremos incrementar la calidad del hotel, la mejoramos incrementando de un hotel de 3 estrellas a un hotel de 4 estrellas. Esto implicó muchas reformas en el sentido de la construcción, pero también en el sentido de las plantillas de trabajo y del sistema de organización. Había una necesidad de cambiar la manera de trabajar por parte de los empleados para así, poder ofrecer una mayor calidad. Ya que hay una nueva moda que esta surgiendo en el turismo de Mallorca, nos hemos enfocado aún más de lo que habíamos hecho, en el turismo de deportes. Nos hemos adaptado, aún más, a sus necesidades y hemos implementado nuevos servicios como spa, sala de congresos y otras instalaciones en las habitaciones.
