[eng] The establishment of marine algae that form non-native habitats in new areas can trigger important changes in the functioning of the ecosystem, including the spatial redistribution of native biodiversity. Here we tested the hypothesis of whether the pattern of movement of vessels during fishing is altered by a change in the spatial distribution of the raor, Xyrichtys novacula, induced by the introduction of an invasive seaweed, the Halimeda incrassata. The objective of this study is to verify if the presence of Halimeda incrassata has an effect on the movement pattern of the recreational fishing vessels of the raor. For this, a very simple model of transition of the two states of movement of the vessel (moving or stopped) will be used. It will be verified statistically if there is a relationship between the two variables with a correlation matrix. Thus, for the first time, it will be studied whether Halimeda incrassata algae has any effect on man, specifically on recreational fishing, since previously it has been shown to have an ecological effect on the raon, potentially changing its habitat. The results of the study show that the habitat factor invaded with Halimeda, has a positive effect on the movement of the vessel, increases the probability that if fishing on Halimeda, you move to an active search movement, contrary to what is I expected in the initial hypothesis.
