Abandono escolar desde una perspectiva de género

Abstract

[spa] Este trabajo de fin de grado tiene el objetivo de analizar el abandono escolar diferenciando el género masculino y el género femenino, viendo las diferencias de rendimiento y motivaciones entre ambos, para ello se ha hecho una revisión e investigación bibliográfica exhaustiva. Los resultados encontrados afirman que el abandono escolar es mayor en hombres que en mujeres, asimismo este porcentaje mayor ha ido descendiendo a lo largo de los años. También se encuentra una estrecha relación entre el rendimiento escolar y las motivaciones de estos alumnos y la educación recibida de manera diferenciada por géneros. Se encuentran diferentes estudios y programas que demuestran la posibilidad de reducir esta problemática tanto a nivel nacional como autonómico. A la conclusión que se llega es que el abandono escolar es un fenómeno preocupante pero que se está trabajando al respecto.

[eng] This final degree Project aims to analyze school dropout differentiating the masculine gender and the feminine gender, seeing the differences in performance and motivations between both, for this purpose, an exhaustive bibliographical review and research has been done. The results found that the school dropout is higher in men than in women, also this higher percentage has been decreasing over the years. There is also a close relationship between academic performance and the motivation of these students and the education received differentiated way by gender. There are different studies and programs that show the possibility of reducing this problem both, nationally and autonomic. The conclusion that is reached is that school dropout is a worrying phenomenon but that work is being done in this regard. .
