dc.description.abstract [eng] A revision of the first bibliographics appointments of fossil fish of Balearic Islands has been made during XVIII and XIX centuries are documented. The first paleoicthyologic appointment, we found in the island of Menorca and is due to Armstrong, 1750; whereas first of the island of Majorca it corresponds to Bouvy, 1867.
