El cuidado psicológico del actor desde la técnica de Michael Chejov

Abstract

Resumen Este artículo presenta una reflexión sobre la técnica actoral interpretativa de Michael Chejov, pues el arte de la actuación requiere de unos conocimientos técnicos que permitan al intérprete ofrecer calidad en sus trabajos. En ocasiones los métodos para llegar a esta realidad escénica le pueden dañar provocándole un deterioro físico o psíquico. Esta técnica, sin embargo, concede al actor el poder asumir el compromiso con la escena desde una posición segura para su persona, que le libera de tensiones personales. Es por ello que debe ser tenida en cuenta por los estudiantes de arte dramático, sobretodo en sus inicios. Abstract This article presents a ponder on the interpretative acting technique of Michael Chekhov, because the art of acting requires technical knowledge that allows the interpreter to offer quality in his works. In occasions the methods to reach this stage reality can damage him causing a physical or psychological deterioration. This technique, however, allows the actor to assume the commitment with the scene from a position that is safe for him, freeing him from personal tensions. That is why it should be taken into account for students of dramatic art, especially those who begin their artistic career.
