Caracterització demogràfica de la població de calàpets (Bufotes balearicus) al Parc Natural de Mondragó

[cat] La desaparició i regressió global d’un gran nombre d’espècies d’amfibis reflecteix la necessitat immediata de realitzar estudis demogràfics, de la seva biologia i ecologia i del disseny d’estratègies de conservació de les espècies i de seu hàbitat. Aquest estudi pretén fer una anàlisi morfomètrica, demogràfica, una estimació poblacional pel mètode Jolly Seber i tastar el mètode de fotoidentificació de Bufotes balearicus, endemisme del Mediterrani occidental. La població analitzada és del Parc Natural de Mondragó (Santanyí) i l’àrea compta amb 4 zones d’estudi, de les quals a una d’elles destaca per haver obtengut més captures i recaptures de calàpets i per això els paràmetres demogràfics i l’estimació poblacional són d’aquesta zona. Els paràmetres morfomètrics i la fotoidentificació s’han realitzat de tots els individus del Parc. L’estudi constitueix una primera avaluació de l’estat de conservació d’una població de calàpets a un espai natural protegit de l’illa de Mallorca. S’ha observat que l’ús de la fotoidentificació en APHIS és un bon mètode de marcatge individual no invasiu i seria necessari fer un seguiment de la població per poder analitzar la tendencia demogràfica.

[eng] The disappearance and global regression of a large number of amphibian species reflects the immediate need to conduct demographic studies, their biology and ecology, and the design of species conservation strategies and their habitat. This study aims to make a morphometric, demographic analysis, population estimation by the Jolly Seber method and taste the photo identification method of Bufotes balearicus, endemism of the western Mediterranean. The population analyzed is from the Natural Park of Mondragó (Santanyí) and the area has 4 zones of study, of which one of them stands out for having obtained more captures and captures of B. balearicus and for that reason the demographic parameters and the population estimation is from this area. The morphometric parameters and the photo identification have been made of all the individuals of the Park. The study constitutes an initial assessment of the state of conservation of a population of B. balearicus in a protected natural area of the island of Mallorca. It has been observed that the use of photo identification in APHIS is a good method of individual noninvasive marking and it would be necessary to monitor the population in order to analyze the demographic trend.
