[eng] This paper brings the contribution of interdisciplinary theories and techniques for production in design. The focus of the research is to find solutions for the uniqueness of visual creativity for products, taking as a premise to reduce the number of similar ideas in projects launched. Thus, the kaleidoscopic design is proposed, which results of imaging analysis in areas related to Design: Computer Graphics, Geometric Drawing and Photography. For this, visual textures using kaleidoscopic photography are created, involving the choice of module geometry and the composition of the mesh, applied with the aid of computer graphics. The aim is to attract the product consumer by the visual difference of the texture covering over the competition. This research was applied to Design students of the first semester, in the discipline Integrated Practice of Creation 1, of Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS. It promoted thinking on how to design and stimulated creativity with the motivation of incorporating knowledge from other areas such as Inventive Design.
