cent deu minuts cadascuna.
i 20 anys.
[eng] Education needs to evolve constantly in order to adapt itself to the requirements
of both teachers and students. This idea is the starting point of the present
work, which tries to evidence that an innovative methodology called Sport
Education created by Siedentop in 1994 could help to improve the development
of the PE classes in a secondary school.
The aim of the work is to study if there is a remarkable progress in the
motivation of the students after applying the Sport Education methodology as
well as the observation of the differences between this new methodology and
the traditional one.
To achieve this, two groups of the same grade were chosen and a
questionnaire was passed before and after the intervention which consisted in
applying the traditional method to a group and new one to the other.
The study was developed throughout a didactic unit of five lessons of 110
minutes each and a sample of 43 students (18 male, 25 female - ages between
16 and 20) of the 1st grade of the baccalaureate certificate of IES Son Rullan in
Palma.
The results of the work showed significant improvements in terms of motivation
when using the Sport Education method compared to the traditional model.
