[eng] In the following study, the main objective was to determine the non-linear
effects of mood and anxiety and the relationship with rest hours, for which
the allometric aggregation method was used. The study consisted of a
sample of 22 subjects, who reported the mood, anxious symptoms and the
number of hours of rest they had during a period of four months. The
results obtained show an h value greater than 0.5 and less than 1. Negative
correlations were found in the means of the series of fluctuations in mood
and anxiety. Regarding the relationships between the exponents of the hseries for anxiety the mood were positive. Relations with rest hours were
not significant with anxiety. However, the relationship obtained with the
time series of the exponent h of the state of mind was significant with the
hours of rest. From the results, it is concluded that the time series of anxiety
and mood are kept under an allometric rather than homeostatic control, thus
supporting the fractal nature of the affective states in the study sample. It is
possible to corroborate the influence of the state of the hours of sleep in the
regulation of the mood experienced by the sample in everyday life.
