[cat] Egon Schiele, és un dels artistes més reconeguts de Viena d’inicis del segle XX, principalment per la vessant expressionista al marge d’Alemanya. La finalitat principal del treball és l’estudi de la seva obra, a partir de la consideració del cos humà com a vehicle d’expressió tant per l’anàlisi de gestos com per a la descripció de sentiments i emocions, tenint en compte diferents factors. En primer lloc, la seva biografia, ja que determinats fets de la seva vida personal van afectar a la seva manera de pintar. En segon lloc, el context social i polític d’aquell moment i en tercer lloc, analitzar la seva obra en relació a les continuïtats i ruptures i influències d’altres artistes o moviments a partir de l’anàlisi exhaustiu del cos humà i en concret de la nuesa

[eng] Egon Schiele, is one of the most well-known Viennan artists from the beginning of the 20th century, mainly because of his renowned branch of expressionism which was the best of its kind in Europe not including Germany. The main focus of this piece is to study his work, with the view of considering the human body as a vehicle of expression, the analysis of body language and gestures as well as the description of feelings and emotions, considering in mind. Firstly, it will discuss his biography, as certain events in his personal life affected his way of painting. Secondly, the social and political context during that time and thirdly, the analysis of his work in relation to the continuity, ruptures and influences of other artists and movements, from a profound analysis of the human body and specifically the nudity.
