[spa] Con el cambio de siglo y la llegada de la Web 2.0 y Google Maps, se inició un proceso de democratización
de la información geográfica en la web que trajo consigo un cambio de paradigma en la Geografía:
la Neogeografía. El visor cartográfico es el medio que conecta las nuevas producciones cartográficas
en la web con la población. A pesar de ello, sigue sin ser un recurso explotado por los
agentes productores de cartografía profesionales. Se propone implementar el visor como un recurso
más, a la altura del mapa, para mejorar las comunicaciones geográficas entre productores –Administración
Pública, investigadores/as, profesionales– y la ciudadanía. Para ello se propone utilizar
QGIS y Leaflet para construir visores que mejoren la calidad de las comunicaciones en tres casos
específicos. Como resultado, se obtiene un visor que sustituye por completo la cartografía tradicional
y dos visores que la complementan. En todos los casos se produce una mejoría en la calidad de la
comunicación respecto a la cartografía tradicional sola.
[eng] With the new century and the arrival of Web 2.0 and Google Maps, it began a process of democratization
of geographic information on the web that brought about a change of paradigm in Geography:
the Neogeography. The map viewer is the medium that connects the new cartographic productions
on the web with the people. Despite this, it is still not a resource exploited by professional
cartography producers. It is proposed to implement the viewer as another resource, at the level of
the map, to improve geographical communications between producers –Public Administration, researchers,
professionals– and citizens. For this purpose, it is proposed to use QGIS and Leaflet to
build viewers that improve the quality of communications in three specific cases. As a result, a
viewer is obtained that completely replaces the traditional cartography and two viewers that complement
it. In all cases there is an improvement in the quality of communication over traditional
cartography on its own.
