Revisión y análisis del duelo infantil: acompañamiento en el proceso

[esp] Una revisión bibliográfica y análisis en el proceso del duelo infantil. Cómo y cuáles son sus reacciones ante una pérdida, qué pensamientos y emociones hay detrás de estas conductas, que pueden ir desde síntomas normales a síntomas extremos, reiterados y prolongados en el tiempo que culminan en un duelo patológico. El duelo infantil está fuertemente condicionado por los recursos externos familiares y tienden a imitar las estrategias de enfrentamiento al dolor que sus referentes elaboran. Las reacciones de los niños ante la pérdida son diferentes en función de varios factores, uno de ellos es el ciclo evolutivo en el que se encuentran. A su vez, el proceso de acompañamiento que el adulto debe ofrecer al menor tiene que ir acorde a las particularidades del ciclo del menor. Lo que el menor entienda por el concepto de muerte también influirá en el proceso de duelo. De la misma manera, el adulto tiene que comunicarle la muerte adaptando el significado de ésta a la comprensión del menor, teniendo en cuenta sus límites.

Which thoughts and emotions are behind these behaviors that can range from normal to extreme symptoms repeated and prolonged that end in pathological grief symptoms. Child duel is strongly conditioned by external family resources and tend to mimic the pain managing strategies that they see from their model roles. The reactions of children to the loss are different depending on several factors, one of them is the evolutionary cycle where they are. Also, the process of guiding or accompanying that the adult must offer has to be coherent and adequate to the particularities and specifications of the minor. What the child understands of the concept of death also influences the grieving process. Likewise, the adult must inform the meaning of death, adapting it to the understanding of the child, taking consideration of his limits and age.
