[eng] I decided to analyse the current linguistic situation in Nursery Education in
collaboration with a public school at Inca. The main reason is to know more about which
languages are spoken by students, the percentage of pupils that use each of them in their daily
life and the kind of usage they make.
By doing this graduate thesis I would like to show the multilingualism in our schools, and
how necessary is being aware of it. It is important to make adaptations in the nursery
classroom by means of integrative attitudes, which are specified in the linguistic project of the school, and this way, making the most of this variety so as other students can take
advantage of it. We have to assess their individual necessities and provide them with the
support they could need. In reference to the difficulties that the immigration process could
produce, I focus on the stages of acculturation, the factors that can modify this adaptation
process and the extra pressure pupils have to face (Wordreference, s.f).
