[eng] Nowadays, the inclusion of all the students in the classroom is a challenge, especially if we take into account that some methodologies tend to segregate. The wide range of needs and capacities that exist among the students makes it essential that all schools change their perspective; only in this way they will be able to start truly inclusive education projects. For this reason, this dissertation defends a leaning environments approach to inclusion since it considers the different capacities and needs of the children. In these learning spaces, pupils develop their learning at their own pace. The game is the basis of this methodology and, therefore, the possibilities of learning are wide enough to guarantee a successful inclusive education. Nevertheless, it should be clarified the fact that the will of change is not enough to ensure success, it is necessary to implement different kinds of strategies in order to make the inclusion of all children possible.
The aim of this dissertation is to demonstrate the potential of the learning environments approach to favour the inclusion of all students. At the same time, it pretends to give visibility to M’agrana’s project, an innovative and inclusive project that is carried out in CEIP Sant Miquel (Son Carrió) and CEE Joan Mesquida (Manacor). The analysis of the effectiveness and benefits or disadvantages of this innovative project will be the key points of this paper.
At a practical level, the final goal of this dissertation is to conduct a comparative study between the M’agrana’s project and other similar inclusive projects that have been carried out in other schools so as to observe the differences. In addition, it tries to put forward an improvement proposal for the M’agrana’s project, introducing new elements if necessary. Finally, I will make a small proposal to carry out this project in early childhood.
