[eng] The degree of motivation of Primary Education students is a very determining factor for
teachers to be able to develop meaningful and quality sessions. Within the area of Physical
Education, motivation is an essential component, since, depending on the degree of motivation
of the students, the execution of the activities and games of the motor competence and in the
time of physical activity, that is, in the time of motor engagement (TCM), will be of greater or
lesser quality on the part of the students. In addition, the lack of scientific research and the low
level of motivation of Primary Education students in Physical Education, shows the need to
confirm this level from controlled and well-designed trials. For this reason, in the present Final
Degree Project (TFG), an analysis is made of the degree of motivation of a specific group-class
and, subsequently, to reach the objective of this TFG, which is to review and to know the most
suitable didactic strategies to increase the motivation of the students. It should be noted that the
main components of motivation were measured using the AMPET assessment instrument and 4
the results obtained in this study are compared with another study conducted on the degree of
motivation of students. In general, the main result and conclusion was: didactic strategies
selected to increase the motivation of the students who participated in this study were very
effective, although gender differences and the characteristics of both the school where the study
is carried out must be considered as of the students who participate in it.
