[cat] El juego es una actividad que permite descubrir, explorar, dominar y admirar el mundo que nos
rodea desde el momento en el que nacemos, además de poner en práctica nuestras habilidades y
actitudes. Normalmente esta actividad suele estar apoyada por materiales de juego que ayudan al
niño a satisfacer sus necesidades, expresar su mundo interior y facilitar el desarrollo de
habilidades motoras y cognitivas. En este trabajo se analizan las aportaciones realizadas al campo
de la ciencia por diferentes investigadores sobre el juego y el material de juego. Además, se
explora en un contexto educativo qué materiales de juego versátiles y económicos ponen en
práctica las diferentes formas de juego propuestas por Piaget y los componentes de las áreas del
desarrollo evolutivo de 1-3 años de edad. Para así, finalmente poder elaborar una guía para
familias que plasme la importancia del juego en el desarrollo infantil y sus beneficios. Además
de proponer material de fácil acceso y versátil que puedan acompañar al juego infantil de 1-3
años.
