cuyo residuo supera cierto umbral.
eventos.
[eng] The main objective of this work is to develop a methodology that allows detecting the dates of those
events that increase the roomnights demand and, at
the same time, that allows for a recommendation to
asjust their price. The aforesaid methodology is based
on the use of time series, fuzzy numbers and aggregation operators.
Regarding the time series, these are applied to the
demand series of each destination to detect and classify the events. Specifically, they are applied to eliminate the trend and seasonality of the aforementioned
series. In this way, the unpredictable part of the demand is obtained, the so-called noise. This part of the
unpredictable demand is classified into events, which
correspond to those dates whose residual exceeds a
certain threshold.
After event detection and classification, fuzzy
numbers and aggregation operators are used. In
particular, a price adjustment method is developed for
each of the detected events (extra MarkUp
recommendation) that is based on the merger of
different recommendation functions. The
recommendation functions have been built by using
fuzzy numbers, OWA operators and metrics that
reflect, on the one hand, information on prices and
availability of the competition and, on the other hand,
the evolution of events.
