tres entidades predominantes: IdISBa, Red Asistencial Juaneda y Quirónsalud.

is a group of companies and research and training centers whose main objective is to
create a collaborative and innovative node between existing companies and institutions,
as well as to create new related ones with the different sectors in which the cluster is

analyzing the objectives, services and some relevant projects developed by the
collaborating entities. Thus, there are a number of companies to take into consideration
and at the local level that are related to the biotechnological and biomedical field and
that promote R+D+i. On the other hand, the pipeline developed during the internships is
commented (thus indicating the development phase, the type of product, therapeutic
area and its functionality), and concluding that most of the products developed in the
companies are drugs, some in phase market development and others in the preclinical
non-regulatory phase. Finally, we proceed with a general review of the hospital network
of the Balearic Islands, in which there are three predominant entities: IdISBa, Red
Asistencial Juaneda and Quirónsalud.
