[eng] Introduction: People with PD may show problems acquiring motor learning due to the
degeneration of cells that produce dopamine even in the early stages. It seems that they
may have the ability to learn new tasks, although those that require cognitive strategies
may be more affected. There is little knowledge about the impact of medication and
observation of SRT tasks shows intact implicit learning. In subjects who do not obtain
the same results, an explicit compensation is observed.
Objective: The general objective is to know the level of affectation of motor learning and
specifically implicit motor learning.
Methods: The bibliographic search was based on the PubMed, Cochrane and Biblioteca
Virtual de la Salud databases with the terms "Motor Learning", "Parkinson" and "Implicit
Learning" combined with the Boolean AND operator.
Results: Once the combination of terms and Booleans was introduced, without applying
filters due to the scarcity of results, a total of 17 citations of interest were obtained to be
included in the present work to answer the research question posed.
Conclusion: It is an emerging issue and due to the novelty of it there is little literature
and what there is is little enlightening but interesting to be able to approach the treatment
of people with PD from a different and more efficient perspective, knowing the levels of
impairment of motor learning.
