= 1,49). Utilizamos el CERQ, el TAS-20, el DASS-21, el SDQ-20, el A-DES-II y el
AIM para evaluar a los 18 adolescentes.
[eng] Conversion disorder is more frequent in the child and adolescent population.
Nevertheless, there is a lack of studies devoted to the risk factors related to the disorder
in this age range. By now it has been found that the most related variables are:
emotional dysregulation, alexithymia, somatoform and psychoform dissociation,
anxiety, stress, and negative affectivity. The objective of the current study was to
examine if there were differences regarding these variables between a group with
conversion disorder formed by eight teenagers (M = 24, DE = 1,60) and a control group
of ten participants (M = 14, DE = 1,49). The CERQ, TAS-20, DASS-21, SDQ-20, ADES-II and AIM have been used to evaluate 18 adolescents. The results revealed that
the patients scored significantly higher in the majority of the variables’ subscales.
However, no significant differences were found in the use of strategies of emotional
regulation, in the subscale “description of feelings” of alexithymia, the subscale
“concentration and imaginative involvement” of psychform dissociation, and neither in
the subscales of “positive affectivity” and “serenity” of affective’s intensity. These
results are in agreement with those obtained with the adult population, although it is
necessary to keep studying whether there is a relation between the variables and the
disorder or not.
