Revisión de literatura: relación entre la industria turística y la distribución del ingreso

[spa] En este trabajo vamos a analizar de qué manera la distribución del ingreso de una economía se ve afectada por la industria turística. Para ello, realizaremos una revisión de la literatura sobre la distribución del ingreso y el turismo en artículos publicados por diferentes autores en revistas científicas (o en trabajos que aún están en versión “Working Paper'') durante el período de 2008-2019. En estos artículos, los autores utilizan métodos para medir la desigualdad del ingreso, como son la curva de Lorenz, la curva de Kuznets y el coeficiente de Gini para llegar a sus conclusiones. Nos damos cuenta de la importancia que tiene las actividades turísticas en la distribución del ingreso porque dependiendo de la magnitud de su impacto, estas pueden tener consecuencias positivas o negativas que afectan directamente al individuo.

[eng] In this work, we will look at how the tourism industry affects the distribution of income. To do this, we will conduct a review of the literature on income distribution and tourism in articles published by different authors in scientific journals (or in works that are still in the “Working Paper” version) from 2008 to 2019. In these articles, the authors use methods to measure income inequality, such as the Lorenz curve, the Kuznets curve, and the Gini coefficient to reach their conclusions. We have realized the importance of tourist activities in income distribution because depending on the magnitude of their impact, these can have positive or negative consequences that directly affect the individual.
