Soluciones a los problemas de saturación turística

Abstract

[spa] Este trabajo busca analizar la situación de masificación turística que sufre Mallorca y las diferentes medidas que se han implementado para combatirla. Para ello analizaremos 3 destinos europeos que se enfrentan a los mismos retos que la isla mayor de las Baleares: Ámsterdam, Dubrovnik y Venecia. Mediante un análisis de los principales indicadores de saturación turística, estudiaremos la respuesta institucional y social que ha surgido para contrarrestar y mitigar los impactos tanto económicos, ambientales y sociales que deja el turismo en estas ciudades. Este análisis se complementa por opiniones de los residentes, recogidas en medios de comunicación y documentales. Finalmente el objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar las similitudes y diferencias en cuanto a las soluciones aplicadas para contrarrestar un mismo problema y exponer aquellas que han sido efectivas.

[eng] This work seeks to analyse the situation of tourist overcrowding suffered by Mallorca and the different measures that have been implemented to combat it. To this end, we will analyse three European destinations that face the same challenges as the largest Balearic island: Amsterdam, Dubrovnik and Venice. Through an analysis of the main indicators of tourist saturation, we will study the institutional and social response that has emerged to counteract and mitigate the economic, environmental and social impacts of tourism in these cities. This analysis is complemented by residents' opinions, collected in the media and documentaries. Finally, the aim of this paper is to show the similarities and differences in the solutions applied to counteract the same problem and expose those of them that have been effective.
