Flujos migratorios Mallorca de 1998 a 2018: migración internacional de jubilados

Abstract

[spa] Este estudio se centra en los flujos migratorios en Mallorca durante el ciclo 1998 a 2018, centrándose en encontrar una tendencia en la migración internacional de jubilados (MIR) y su nicho exacto. Así, se considerarán los siguientes aspectos: padrón, gran grupo de edad, nacionalidad por país de origen, municipio de residencia y la clasificación de estos. Finalmente, se examinará el estudio presentado por Williams y Hall (2013) para medir cómo ha evolucionado mallorca de destino turístico a destino de migración y si el propio turismo tiene influencia alguna en las migraciones internacionales de jubilados (MIR).

[eng] This study focuses on migration flows in Mallorca during the cycle 1998 to 2018, focusing on finding a trend in the international migration of retirees (MIR) and their exact niche. Thus, the following aspects will be considered: census, large age group, nationality by country of origin, municipality of residence and the classification of these. Finally, the study presented by Williams and Hall (2013) will be examined to measure how Mallorca has evolved from a tourist destination to a migration destination and whether tourism itself has any influence on international retiree migration (IRM).
