Turismo urbano y la transformación de Palma

Abstract

[spa] Con el presente trabajo de fin de grado tengo por objetivo analizar la evolución del turismo urbano y la transformación del centro histórico de Palma desde el periodo del 2006 al 2021. En este trabajo quiero ver qué factores han impulsado la creación de hoteles y otras facilidades turísticas en la ciudad de Palma. Mediante la recopilación de datos sobre turismo urbano, he observado la oferta hotelera, gastronómica y cultural que dispone la ciudad actualmente. He comparado la oferta que dispone Palma entre otros destinos urbanos y culturales de España, lo que me ha permitido ver la magnitud que representa la ciudad palmesana en materia de turismo urbano. He examinado los recursos culturales y lugares de interés que ofrece la ciudad que constituyen su atractivo turístico. Con los datos recopilados, he creado una serie de tablas y gráficos que me han permitido desarrollar el análisis de la evolución y de la transformación de Palma en materia de turismo urbano. Finalizo el trabajo detallando las políticas y factores que han permitido que la ciudad haya desarrollado este tipo de turismo en los últimos años.

[eng] With this work aim to analyze the evolutions of urban tourism and the transformation of the historic center of Palma from 2006 to 2021. In this work I want to see what factors have driven the creation of hotels and other tourist facilities in the city of Palma. By collecting data on urban tourism, I have looked at the hotel, gastronomic and cultural offer currently available in the city. I have compared the offer that Palma has among other urban and cultural destinations in Spain, which has allowed me to assess the magnitude that this city represents in terms of urban tourism. I have examined the cultural resources and places of interest offered by the city that constitute its tourist attraction. With the data collected, I have created a series of tables and graphs that have allowed me to develop the analysis of the evolution and transformation of Palma in terms of urban tourism. I have finished the work by detailing the policies and factors that have allowed the city to develop this type of tourism in recent years.
