L'hort escolar i la seva aplicació a Educació Infantil

[cat] L’Hort Escolar és un instrument pedagògic que afavoreix que l’alumnat s’aproximi a un entorn natural a través d’experiències globalitzadores i interdisciplinàries que contribueixen al desenvolupament de les competències bàsiques dels infants, on ells són els vertaders protagonistes del seu aprenentatge. També, afavoreix l’aprenentatge actiu, a través de l’experimentació, per descobriment i cooperació situant així als infants protagonistes en el procés d’ensenyament – aprenentatge (E-A). Disposar d’un Hort Escolar a Educació Infantil farà que els infants tinguin un contacte amb un espai natural que està dissenyat per l’home i comporta beneficis tant psicològics com físics en comparació a les persones que no en tenen, a més s’aprèn a tenir un sentiment de respecte i de conservació cap a la natura. A més, es tracta d’una proposta didàctica que ajuda a relacionar-se amb els elements que s’hi troben en l’ambient, les característiques pròpies d’aquest i el canvis que poden sofrir. En el present treball es planteja l’experiència de demostrar la utilitat de tenir un Hort Escolar a Educació Infantil, a partir d’una part teòrica veient l’evolució que ha tingui l’Hort, els principals pedagogs que van incloure la importància que tenia relacionar-se amb el medi i els principals beneficis que comporta de disposar un hort. També, hi ha una part pràctica on es pot observar quins són els objectius de tenir un hort així com començar a fer-ne un a qualsevol centre educatiu i un seguit d’activitats relacionades amb aquest.

[eng] The School Garden is a pedagogical tool that encourages students to get closer to a natural environment through globalizing and interdisciplinary experiences. That contribute to the development of children’s basic skills, where they are the real protagonists of their learning. It also encourages active learning, through experimentation, discovery and cooperation, this way children at the front of their teaching-learning process. Having an School Garden in preschool will make children have contact with a natural space designed for this purpose and has both psychological and physical benefits compared to people who do not have it. In addition they learn to have a respectful and conservation sense towards nature. Moreover, it is a didactic proposal that helps to relate with the elements that are in the environment, its own characteristics and the changes that may suffer. In the present essay is proposed the experience to demonstrate the utility of having an School Garden in preschool, from a theoretical part watching the evolution of the Garden. Main pedagogues included the importance that had to relate with the environment and the benefits of having a garden in the school. Also, there is a practical part where it can be seen the aims of having a garden and how to start doing one in any school and some activities related to it.
