[eng] The urgent and grave issue of how overtourism impacts tourist’s experiences in a variety of well-known tourist destinations is examined in the current study. This research explores the consequences of overtourism on several facets of the tourist experience, including service quality, accessibility, security, health and safety, and environmental sustainability through a thorough analysis od related literature. We also examine the impact of tourist’s decisions on congestion on their trip plans, choices, and general happiness.
According to the study, tourist congestion may undermine traveller’s destination’s competitiveness and sustainability, which may also have a negative impact on how enjoyable their vacation will be overall. The study offers some suggestions for destination managers and government representatives to solve the problems caused by overtourism and improve the overall guest experience.
The major goal of the study is to improve the quality of the visitor experience at well-known tourist attractions by exposing the negative effects of tourism overcrowding on the visitor experience and offering strategies to reduce these bothersome concerns
