El trombón: transición de los estudios superiores a la vida profesional del trombonista

Abstract

[spa] El presente trabajo ofrece información sobre la vida del trombonista durante y después de acabar los estudios superiores: el repertorio a estudiar, la búsqueda de un trabajo, la realidad de la profesión, las satisfacciones y frustraciones… Mediante encuestas y entrevistas, junto con un análisis de distintas fuentes documentales, así como de las temporadas de las orquestas españolas y de la oferta laboral actual, se pone a disposición del lector una ‘foto fija’ de la verdadera actualidad a la que se enfrentan los jóvenes estudiantes de este instrumento, con sus objetivos y aspiraciones, con el fin de averiguar hasta qué punto existe una correspondencia entre la visión de estos y la realidad. Se pregunta también cómo es y de qué manera se consigue el mantenimiento de nivel del músico tras la finalización de su etapa estudiantil. Las encuestas realizadas ayudan a revelar la opinión tanto de estudiantes de trombón como de los profesionales que se dedican a ello.

[eng] The present text offers information concerning the reality of life as a trombonist on completing their studies: the repertoire studied, job searching, the true nature of the profession, the satisfactions and frustrations… By means of surveys and interviews, an analysis of the concert seasons of Spanish orchestras and jobs currently on offer, as well as diverse documentation, the reader will find a reflection of what eventually happens to the hopes, dreams and aspirations of students of this instrument, and to what extent these correspond to reality. The text also asks how a trombonist maintains their level once they have finished their studies. The surveys carried out help to reveal the opinion of both students and professionals of the trombone.
