Tursimo vacacional: ¿Modelo compatible con el sector turístico tradicional?

Abstract

[spa] El objetivo del presente estudio se centra en la exploración del impacto del alquiler vacacional en el turismo a lo largo de su evolución histórica, desde el surgimiento del turismo de masas hasta la actualidad. Se busca analizar su expansión, desarrollo, problemáticas y conflictos asociados. Asimismo, se investiga el turismo de sol y playa que emergió en los años cincuenta y evolucionó durante las décadas posteriores, deteniéndose en las fases clave de su desarrollo. Se presta especial atención al nuevo enfoque del alquiler turístico y su impacto en el sector hotelero, considerando la oferta y demanda de esta modalidad de alojamiento. También se reflexiona sobre la legislación vigente y las normas aplicables en el contexto de las Islas Baleares, con especial énfasis en Mallorca.

[eng] The aim of this study is to explore the impact of holiday rentals on tourism throughout its historical evolution, from the emergence of mass tourism to the present day. It seeks to analyse its expansion, development, problems, and associated conflicts. It also investigates the sun and beach tourism that emerged in the 1950s and evolved over the following decades, focusing on the key phases of its development. Special attention is paid to the new approach to tourist rental and its impact on the hotel sector, considering the supply and demand of this type of accommodation. It also reflects on the legislation in force and regulations applicable in the context of the Balearic Islands, with special emphasis on Mallorca.
