[cat] El Dotzè del Crestià, escrit a finals del segle XIV per Francesc Eiximenis, és una font primària molt interessant per apropar-nos a la planificació urbana de l’edat mitjana. Al llarg de la seva obra es poden extreure idees que ajuden a traçar la concepció de la ciutat que aquest concebia com ideal. Francesc Eiximenis deixà un llegat notable en el camp de la teorització urbanística que mereix ser estudiat i analitzat, explorant les seves idees i contribucions, objectiu del present treball.

[eng] The Dotzè del Crestià, written at the end of the 14th century by Francesc Eiximenis, is a very interesting primary source for appropriating the urban planning of the middle ages. Throughout his work, he can express ideas that help outline the conception of the city that he conceived as an ideal. Francesc Eiximenis has made a notable achievement in the field of urban theory that deserves to be studied and analyzed, exploring the various ideas and contributions, the objective of this work.
