Turismo deportivo en Mallorca, el caso del triatlón

[spa] En este trabajo de fin de grado se hace un estudio del turismo deportivo en la isla de Mallorca, utilizando como ejemplo el caso del triatlón. Entender que es el turismo deportivo y como ha evolucionado será clave para desarrollar el trabajo. Se trata de dar a conocer como el deporte del triatlón, entre otros deportes, ha hecho realidad la relación entre el sector deportivo y el sector turístico, siendo este último la principal fuente de ingresos de la isla. Analizar este tipo de turismo deportivo, como se desarrolla, como afecta a la sociedad y sus tendencias serán algunos puntos de estudio clave para comprender como el triatlón puede ser un arma para desestacionalizar el sector turístico en Mallorca.

[eng] In this final degree project, a study of sports tourism on the island of Mallorca is carried out, using the case of triathlon as an example. Understanding what sports toursim is and how it has evolved will be the key to developing the project. The aim is to show how the sport of triathlon, beyond other sports, has made the relationship between the sports sector and the toursim sector a reality, the latter being the main source of income for the island. Analysing this type of sports tourism, how it develops, how it affects society and its trends will be some key points of study to understand how triathlon can be a weapon to deseasonalise the toursim sector in Majorca.
