Desempleo juvenil y las políticas activas de empleo enfocadas a la Unión Europea, España e Islas Baleares

Abstract

[spa] En este trabajo se ha realizado un análisis del desempleo juvenil en la zona europea, nacional y autonómica, centrándonos en el estudio de los últimos 10 años. El objetivo final es determinar la ambigüedad del desempleo juvenil, además de determinar la reacción y efectos que ha tenido en Europa, España y las Islas Baleares ante este. Para ello, se ha comparado diversos datos y fuentes relacionadas con el desempleo, varias normativas, estrategias y políticas. Se contempla de forma más extensa el surgimiento de la Garantía juvenil, y como este ayuda a la evolución del empleo en el colectivo de individuos entre 16 y 24 años.

[eng] In this thesis we have carried out an analysis of youth unemployment at the European, national and regional levels, focusing the study on the last 10 years of data. Our final objective is to determine the ambiguity of youth unemployment, as well as the reactions and effects it has had in Europe, Spain, and the Balearic Islands. To this end, different data and sources related to unemployment, various regulations, strategies and policies have been compared. The emergence of the Youth Guarantee and how it contributes to the evolution of employment in the group of people aged between 16 and 24 is considered in more detail.
