[eng] Orchidaceae has a great variety of pollination mechanisms, which consists on using different claims, both physical and chemical, to attract the pollinator which will be rewarded by most of the species of the family. This study selected a species which appears in Mallorca, Anacamptis coriophora, and the objectives are to study which of the mechanisms is used to breed, considering fruit set and seed viability , as well as the possible relationship of these parameters with the morphological characteristics of the plant. The study proved that allogamy is the most successful mechanism, as it is the only where viable seeds are produced. No correlations were found between morphological characteristics and biological effectiveness. Flowers were divided into functional groups, and this study showed that most of them have acted as male. We have also determined the pollinator which guarantees the pollen carriage between individuals of the species: Megascolia bidens. It may be important because of its possible plant-pollinator relationship with a protected species: Orchis palustris.
