[cat] Tenir un fill/a amb la síndrome de Down és una situació desconcertant per els pares i
mares, sobretot, als primers moments després de conèixer el diagnòstic. Per aquest motiu, el
treball realitzat, consisteix en un estudi d'aquestes experiències viscudes de famílies amb
fills/es amb discapacitat intel·lectual, per tal de donar ajuda i reforç a futurs pares i mares que
es trobin amb la mateixa situació. D'aquesta manera, fer que el procés d'acceptació i superació
siga més fàcil. La recollida d'informació serveix de base per després fer una Breu Guia
d’intervenció i ajuda per a pares i mares amb un fill/a amb la síndrome de Down a partir de
necessitats i experiències viscudes per altres famílies.
El principal motiu de l’elecció del tema ve de l’interès i les ganes d’ajudar a les famílies sobre
que passen per aquesta situació, ja que la família és un pilar important per l’infant i per el seu
desenvolupament. És important que les famílies estiguin informades i tenguin recursos per
afrontar la situació de la millor manera. Sobretot, es vol facilitar el camí de l’educació i la
vida de la família amb l’infant amb la síndrome de Down.

The motive that I choose this topic is for the interest and the desire to help this families
because they are very important for the child. It's important that the families are informed and
have resources to confront the situation of the best way. Overcoat wants to facilitate the way
of the education to him and the life of the families with children who have Down syndrome.
