Rellevància de l'Educació Artística dins els Sistemes educatius Europeus

[cat] La música és un fenomen que sempre ha existit i que ha evolucionat al llarg de la història passant per diferents etapes fins arribar a l'actual, on ens trobem amb noves perspectives en l'Educació Musical. És per això que cada sistema educatiu Europeu té present l'Educació Artística en el seu currículum escolar, tot i que la importància que se li atorga a aquesta àrea no és la mateixa en cada país. En aquest treball es descriu la situació que ocupa aquesta àrea a catorze països Europeus, a més de verificar si existeix una correlació entre les hores que es dedica a l'Educació Artística durant l'Educació Primària en aquests països i les puntuacions obtingudes a les proves PIRLS i TIMSS. Per tal d'arribar al resultat s'ha dut a terme una anàlisi estadística que ens ha portat a establir una comparació entre aquells països més divergents. Això ens ha permès concloure una possible relació entre les hores d'Educació Artística i els resultats en les proves, encara que puguin existir altres variables que influeixin en el rendiment dels alumnes.

[eng] Music is something that has always existed and has evolved throughout history. We find now new challenges in Music Education. That's why in all European education systems Arts Education is present in the curriculum of schools, even though it's not given the same importance in each country. This project describes what the situation is for this subject in fourteen European countries, in addition to verifying if there is a correlation between the hours devoted to teaching Arts in Primary Education in these countries and the scores on tests of PIRLS and TIMSS. To get the result, a statistical analysis has been carried out that has led us to make a comparison between the most divergent countries. This has enabled us to conclude that there is a possible relation between the hours of Arts education and results in tests, although there may also be other variables that influence students performance.
