Tractem la prevenció de l’assetjament escolar, com una obligació

Abstract

[cat] L’assetjament escolar, més conegut com a bullying, és una tipologia de maltractament amb intenció de fer mal, sigui psicològic i/o físic, a través de diverses manifestacions o maneres de dur-ho a terme, com són: insults, burles, sobrenoms, cops, abús sexual, pallisses, entre moltes altres. Uns dels pioners en estudiar i aportar una definició on es reconeixia el bullying com maltracta va ser Olweus. No obstant no ha estat relativament fins ara, quan la societat ha pres consciència de les greus conseqüències, a curt i a llarg termini, del que suposa ser víctima d’assetjament escolar, ja que s’ha donat a conèixer més mediàticament arrel de nombrosos menors que s’han suïcidat, tot i que aquest maltractament es ve donant de de dècades enrere. Per tant com a futures i futurs educadors/es socials, hem de poder disposar d’eines de prevenció i actuació front aquesta problemàtica, diferenciar entre conflictes puntuals i assetjament escolar.

[eng] The school harassment, more known as bullying, is a type of mistreatment with the intention to cause psychologically and physically damage, through differents manifestations such as: insults, jeers, nicknames, blows, sexual abuse, beatings among others. Some of the pioneers who study and contribute to a definition in which bullying was recognized as mistreatment as such was Olweus. Nevertheless, it has not been until now when the society has been aware of serious short and long term consequences of being a victim of school harassment, since media has made public some numerous cases of you the committing suicide. Although, this problem is not new and it has been around for decades. Therefore as future social educators, we must be able to have as a many tools as possible in order to prevent and be able to act in these situations, difference between punctual conflicts and school harassment.
