Nous jaciments d’ocupació de l’educació social: les teràpies assistides amb animals

Abstract

[eng] In the present final degree project, we will delve into knowing about a new employment source such as the animal-assisted therapies (AAT, or even “pet therapy”) in order to establish an appropriate link with the social educator. In the first place, we will know, in a comprehensive way, its precedents and its historical evolution, as well as the conceptual approach of the AATs. Straightaway, we will number and understand the intervention areas and the benefits in the different aspects of the student’s life in order to understand the animal-assisted therapies as a new professional source of the social educator, exposing its social-educational link with the job and the praxis of the social educator. Finally, we will offer a design of a social-educational intervention proposal by the social educator through the animal-assisted therapies: the social educator and the AATs in emotional intelligence for young people with behavioural problems and risk of social exclusion.

[cat] En el present treball de fi de grau ens endinsarem en conèixer un nou jaciment d’ocupació com són les teràpies assistides amb animals per tal de poder establir una relació adient amb l’educació social. En primer lloc, coneixerem de forma integral els antecedents i l’evolució històrica, així com l’aproximació conceptual de les TAA. Seguidament, enumerarem i entendrem els àmbits d’intervenció i els beneficis en els diferents àmbits de la vida de l’educand per tal de poder comprendre les teràpies assistides amb animals com a nou jaciment professional de l’educador social, exposant el seu lligam socioeducatiu amb la professió i la pràctica de l’educador social. Per concloure, oferirem un disseny d’una proposta d'intervenció socioeducativa per part de l’educadora social mitjançant les teràpies assistides amb animals: l’educador social i les TAA en intel·ligència emocional per a joves amb problemes de conducta i risc d’exclusió social.
