Abstract

[spa] La presente investigación sobre la estructura de capital pretende detectar si los flujos de caja, las oportunidades de crecimiento, las garantías patrimoniales, la volatilidad de los flujos de caja, los años de establecimiento en el sector, el tamaño y el sector de actividad son factores determinantes de la estructura de capital de las empresas y, si se cumplen las predicciones de las teorías del equilibrio estático y orden jerárquico para estos factores. El resultado muestra que la madurez de las empresas y el flujo de caja que obtienen no son determinantes de la financiación.

[eng] The present investigation on the capital structure tries to detect if the cash flows, the opportunities of growth, the patrimonial guarantees, the volatility of the cash flows, the years of establishment in the sector, the size and the sector of activity are determinant factors of the structure of the capital of the companies and, if there are fulfilled the predictions of Trade-Off theory and Pecking Order theory for these factors. The result shows that the maturity of the companies and the cash flow that they obtain they are not determinants of the financing.
