A Toolchain for Scheduling Legacy Ethernet-Based Traffic into TSN Networks with Spatial and Time Redundancy
Jover Mulet, Mateu
heredado (legacy traffic) a TSN.
stream redundante.; [eng] Distributed Control Systems (DCSs) for emerging industrial
control applications impose new communication requirements
that cannot be satisfied by current Industrial Ethernet protocols. As a result, industry is pushing the Time-Sensitive
Networking (TSN) standards as the de-facto Ethernet-based
link-layer to fulfill these requirements. Adequate roadmaps
are needed to support a smooth transition from IndustrialEthernet-based legacy systems to TSN-based ones. In this
context some works propose mechanisms to migrate, i.e. map,
route and schedule, legacy traffic to TSN. However none of
them considers traffic including streams with spatial redundancy requirements and, thus, they cannot be used to migrate
legacy highly-reliable DCSs. The present TFM extends a
previous toolchain to migrate, for the fist time, legacy critical
traffic that includes spatially redundant streams. Particularly,
since redundancy is costly, this TFM proposes and compares
two routing methods that consider one redundant stream per
traffic.

Análisis de la métrica Expected Goals mediante Inteligencia Artificial Explicable
Frau Ripoll, Juan Miguel
The expected goals metric is becoming increasingly relevant
in the professional football because it is a very useful metric
for analyzing and predicting football matches as well as for
measuring the performance of professional players. In order
to be able to estimate this metric and to know which features
are most important in their estimated value, in this work
it has been implemented an expected goals model for each
player. On these models, their analysis and interpretation will
be done through the use of Explainable Artificial Intelligence
techniques, like SHAP and LIME, in order to be able to offer
an understandable explanation for the user of the values of
this metric. By means of Explainable Artificial Intelligence
it has been possible to observe how there are three features
that predominate significantly over the rest when calculating
the metric expected goals, these features are the distance to
goal, the angle and the number of defenders in the area of
trajectory. Therefore, a depth knowledge of each player’s
expected goals metric will allow us to enhance the strengths
and improve the weaknesses of each player when shooting.

y planteamientos que surgen al respecto; [eng] The use of robotics in the military field, more with the degree
of development in the ability to attack autonomously, raises
ethical, moral and legal conflicts for which we are possibly
not prepared. Is it legal to use robots in the military field?
Is it permissible for them to have autonomy in the use of
the force? We are talking about lethal robots, how should
they behave in combat? Could be a robot more ethically
than a soldier? Does this lead us to a new, more dystopian
war scenario? This work is intended to outline the current
framework with the problems and approaches that arise in
this regard.

del sistema.; [eng] In this Master’s Thesis, Adam Lipowski’s work related on the
application of Ising model in financial market is implemented
and studied [37]. In his work, Adam Lipowski develops an
Ising model with agents arranged in a directed net, and they
make the decision to buy or sell by imitating their respective
neighbors. With the proposal to reproduce the financial fluctuations beyond critical point, this model incorporates preferential
attachment between agents at every time step. This kind of
attachment generates a core of agents responsibles of whole
system dynamics, that experiments a great instability. Hence,
preferential attachment allows to simulate herding and its
influence in fiancial market. From Adam Lipowski’s work,
in this Mater’s Thesis a new model able to regulate herding
of agents is proposed. With this proposal, an idiosincracy is
assigned to agents that allows them to choose preferential or
antpreferential attachment by a probabilistic rule. The presence
of both kind of attachments prevents the core from being so
small, and consequently it attenuates insatbility system. In that
way it is shown that regulating herding can attenuate instability
system.
