dc.description.abstract	[eng] Quite a large literature has focused on the impact of sports participation on labour market outcomes over the last years. This paper has contributed to the scientific community by summarizing the most important research about the topic from 1970‘s to nowadays and comparing their results. Additionally, in the conclusion section, there are some proposals directed to further investigations on sports and earnings dependence that surely would be socially useful, especially for public sport policies.	ca
