Estudi sobre el coneixement lingüístic de la població sorda de les Illes Balears

[cat] Aquest estudi pretén donar a conèixer, d’una banda, la situació sociolingüística en la qual es troben les persones amb sordesa i de l’altra, les seves competències i habilitats que tenen a l’hora de fer servir la llengua catalana. Per poder dur-lo a terme, he comptat amb la col·laboració de la Federació de Persones Sordes de les Illes Balears (FSIB) i tot l’equip que hi treballa. La metodologia utilitzada ha estat una enquesta en paper i on-line redactada en castellà, per tal de poder arribar al nombre més gran de participants i que el resultat sigui el més precís possible. S’ha fet una anàlisi del seu historial lingüístic, l’ús que fan de la llengua, el tipus d’educació que han rebut i, finalment, de les competències a l’hora de comunicar-se en català. Finalment, s’han analitzat els resultats de la mostra obtinguda i se n’han extret conclusions respecte de la situació sociolingüística i respecte de la seva formació educativa

[eng] This study aims to make people aware of the sociolinguistic situation in which people with deafness are involved, apart from their competencies and skills they have to use the Catalan language. To be able to carry it out, I have had the collaboration of the Federation of deaf People of the Balearic Islands (FSIB) and all the people who are currently working there. The methodology I have used is a poll on paper and on-line, written in Spanish, in order to reach the largest number of participants, trying to make the results as accurate as possible. There has been an analysis of its linguistic history, how they use the language, the type of education they have received, and finally, another analysis of the skills to communicate in Catalan. Finally, we have analysed the results of the survey and we have obtained our conclusions regarding the sociolingüistic situation and the education and formation of the children.
