Análisis del mercado eléctrico español

[spa] La electricidad es una commodity caracterizada por un problema de almacenamiento, por tanto, se debe de asegurar el equilibrio entre generación y consumo, dicho equilibrio viene regulado por el operador del sistema. En este trabajo se aborda el estudio del análisis del mercado español bajo dos objetivos: el primero consiste en estudiar como los cambios legislativos llevados a cabo en las últimas décadas han afectado en la actualidad sobre la estructura y el funcionamiento del sector eléctrico, el segundo, pretende explicar cómo se forman los precios de electricidad y los componentes que lo forman dependiendo de si el tipo de consumidor es de origen doméstico o industrial. A la hora de examinar la evolución que han tenido los precios, se hace una comparativa con países de la zona euro destacando aspectos relevantes de cada uno, así como posibles políticas adoptadas que hayan favorecido su posición en comparación a otro país o respecto a sí mismo durante la última década. El informe termina con una síntesis de los aspectos más importantes, citando la interacción entre los componentes de este sector oligopolísta, haciendo hincapié sobre la evolución de la rentabilidad de la actividad y su aportación dentro del proceso de la descarbonización.

[eng] Electricity is a merchandise characterized by a storage problem, therefore, the balance between generation and consumption must be guaranteed, said balance is regulated by the system operator while the transport network gathers the four activities that facilitate energy from the generation points to the different consumption points. This report deals with the study of the analysis of the spanish market under two objectives: the first is to study how the legislative changes carried out in recent decades have currently affected the structure and operation of the electricity sector, the second, aims to explain how electricity prices are formed and the components that form them, depending on the type of consumer is of household or industrial origin. When examining the evolution that prices have undergone, a comparison is made with the countries of the euro zone highlighting relevant aspects of each one, as well as how policies have improved their position compared to other countries or to themselves during the last decade. The report ends with a synthesis of the most important aspects, briefly citing the interaction between the components of this clearly oligopolistic sector, emphasizing the evolution of the profitability of the activity and its contribution to the decarbonization process.
