Anàlisi de l’estructura financera de les empreses hoteleres de les Illes Balears

Abstract

[cat] Aquest treball presenta dues parts diferenciades. La primera consisteix en un anàlisi del sector turístic i hoteler, partint de les dades mundials fins a arribar a les autonòmiques. Per fer-ho s’han analitzat variables com l’arribada de turistes, els ingressos i les despeses que aquests aporten, els principals destins turístics escollits, el grau d’ocupació dels hotels, la tarifa hotelera mitja diària i els ingressos per habitació disponible, entre d’altres. La segona part del treball, comporta l’anàlisi econòmic i financer de quatre empreses hoteleres (Riusa II, Meliá, Fiesta i Caleta Club). Concretament, primer s’ha fet un estudi individual de cada una analitzant la seva solvència i liquiditat, l’eficiència i les rendibilitats; i després s’han realitzat una sèrie de comparacions amb l’objectiu de descobrir quina de les quatre presenta una millor situació. Finalment, en funció dels resultats obtinguts s’han proposat algunes millores que les empreses podrien dur a terme per solucionar els seus ràtios més deficients.

[eng] This task is divided in two parts. The first one includes an analysis of tourism and hotel sector. Specifically, the variables that have been studied are: tourist arrivals, tourist revenues and expenses, the main destinations, the hotel occupancy, the Revenue Per Available Room, the Average Daily Rate and others statistics. The second part consists of analyzing the financial and economic situation of four hotel companies (Riusa II, Melia Hotels International, Fiesta Hotels & Resort and Caleta Club). On the one hand, it has done an individual examination of each, studying its solvency, its liquidity, its efficiency and their performance. On the other hand, it has done a comparison with the aim of research which is the company with the better situation. Finally, it has proposed some improvements for each company.
