[spa]La competencia en el sector eléctrico español está en el punto de mira actualmente, debido al incremento del precio de las facturas de la luz. Lo cierto es que en el sector hay cinco grandes empresas que lo dominan de manera clara, ya que no solo cuentan con una gran cuota de mercado en las etapas liberalizadas del proceso, sino que estas cinco grandes empresas también llevan a cabo la función de distribución en sus respectivas zonas. Sin embargo hay diversos factores que influyen de manera importante sobre el precio final de la electricidad y no forman parte del proceso productivo.

The truth is that in the sector there are five big companies that dominate it clearly, as they not only have a large market share in the liberalized stages of the process, these five big companies also carry out the distribution function in their respective zones.
